At daybreak, the mad barbarian is cracking whips, whooping people. Horsemen dash about, their horses disturbed me. brushed bits of dust off. A family was sitting on floor They didn’t kill it, they had no use even that way. and looked frightened. At times almost screaming with pain. to stay alive- while scuttling around scratching the ground, So i threw some of my bread. to look more trusting.
